On Wednesday, April 6, I was invited to be a guest leader at Winona State University’s Seminar in Leadership Course, with students participating from both the Winona and Rochester campuses. It was a great opportunity to take questions from students about my leadership experience, style and practices.  The students’ questions were very insightful and thoughtful. As important as classroom learning is, interaction with businesses and highly experienced and effective leaders provides real-life lessons and experiential learning.

I am happy to support the mission of Winona State University to prepare graduates to serve generously, lead responsibly, and respond imaginatively and creatively to the challenges of their work, their lives and their communities.

My visit to the Seminar in Leadership course is just one part of an ongoing relationship between Miller Ingenuity and Winona State University. Since 2014, I have also served on the university’s College of Business Leadership Advisory Board (C-LAB).
